hey folks I have recently set up a new tank for my betta, he shares it with an apple snail, 2 khulis and some red cherry shrimp. the tank is 70L. my problem now is that I used plants from my community to plant up the new tank and it seems to have brought pond snails in with them Evil or Very Mad , in a tank this small the problem is going to get out of hand very quickly so I need a way to get rid of the snails without harming the shrimp. someone said putting cigerette butts in a tank would kill the snails without harming the fish but I don't know if its safe for shrimp and frankly I'm abit dubious about the fishes safety too. I think the snail traps would prove a problem with the shrimp and the wee shrimplets in particular, they love their veggies too.

You have Khulis, what are you worried about? They'll keep those pond snails in check, if not eliminate them completely.
