Hi,

Half my blue tetras have a white spot right on the tip of their adipose fin. The spot on each fish is the same size and in the same location so I don't think it's white spot - does this mark the fish as male or female?

I would assume that indicates them as a male. Females usually have no distinct markings in any species, fish or otherwise.
