Not that I am complaing of anything, the fish keeping hobby is the best hobby I have found (R/C airplanes rank up there, ever seen a glider go 400mph?) But what is the worst part of it?
Mine is spending money to support the hobby, catching small, fast, smart fish in a big tank with lots of caves, water changes, testing for nitrate _________________

I dislike how the hobby is more of a money sink than anything. Always got to have a new tank with new plants _________________ Anthony |

I'm a 15 year old boy always going places! I am having to leave my tanks home for whiles on end... I cannot afford almost anything I need! Its so expensive!!! BTW! with lights. if you need lowlight, they are cheapest at homedepot (or any non aquarium store) I saw a 30 watt bulb at home depot. $7. at petco the same light was 15 dollars. _________________ In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. - Martin |

Water changes so frequently, not knowing what is causing problems in my tank, fixing problems in my tank, and catching fish (especially zebra danios). _________________

I feel you 59, I just turned 17 and spend maybe 2-3 hours awake at my house a day, between my job and hanging out with friends I find I don't have near enough time to just sit and enjoy all the money I sink into my tank
And for high light planted tanks... best and cheapest place for fixtures and bulbs are your common mom and pop hydroponics stores... good place for ferts too (and nobody knows you're really going in there for aquarium goods lol).
My least favorite part of this hobby is probably feeding my fish, it's becoming such a chore lately _________________

I'm a 13 year old door to door worker, trying to get people to let me mow their lawns. I also am sorta selling some aquatic stuff, want to hear my future business name? Greater Aquatics! I already got the domain name so don't try and steal it _________________

For a project in document formatting the first semester of school I had to make a business. of course it was a fish store called Jake's Fish Place! I know original right?
