Just thought I would share our new kids/lambs:
Red bourbon and Narragansett turkeys - 1 day old
6-8 week old lambs.
TACKLE!
"Bambi", the mother of the two newest additions to our farm.

Oh god. I needed to see a bunch of cute animals! [rough morning XD]
Those baby turkeys are way cuter than I would have expected a little turkey to be!
But those goats! I want to take one home! Cuuuuuuute |

Yes, the turkeys look much better than other breeds we have gotten. These turkeys will lay eggs and sit on them, so we can hatch our own and eat the eggs. The goats are Nubian, and we have never sold them. We have traded a goat for another goat with our friends, and bred our goats with somebody else's goats, however the people who we trade/breed with we know never have any disease's. We have never had any sickness with our goats (Knock on wood) and we try to keep it that way by never introducing anything that can have disease's. _________________

Counted 11 (there were 12 but that one didn't make it, its a long story) chicks,
and last night our goat gave birth to two little kids, another goat is due to give birth anytime now (she either has a goat or a shoat...geep... fetus) but it is most likely a goat...we hope. Also, platy gave birth (nothing new...) along with my RCS giving lots of shrimplets, and our fly population is increasing. I should have pics soon. _________________

| I hear ya on the fly populations, except for us it is mosquitoes. Swear to god they are the size of small birds up here in northern because. HAHA. But seriously.. there's a swamp in the woods behind my house, and the lot a few properties over just has been logged and is up for sale, and the ditches havent been drained properly... and mosquitoes are breeding. |
