|
|
I'm sorry but...I cannot for the life in me find a link anywhere to make a Co2 injector. I have the 2 litre bottle with the air tube running thru the cap and all but I cannot find what to put in the bottle to make the Co2. (This is for both of my tank just so you know. I will make another smaller one if needed for my 5 gallon planted betta tank.) I did search the board before posted this. _________________ In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. - Martin |

The recipe that many people use for a 2L soda bottle is as follows:
2 cups sugar
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon yeast
Fill with tepid water up to the part of the bottle where it begins to curve. _________________ Anthony |

Okay. Thanks! I am using the newer model of the Cocacola brand sodas. The take the shape of an actual coke bottle will the amount of water change the diffusion? _________________ In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. - Martin |

Oh... never tried anything that simple. I kept doing DIY Co2 ingredients. I did end up finding one but was not sure how accurate it is. Oh, btw Marcos, Is it against the rules in the photo contest to delete your entry with a newer one. I re-scaped thee tank I entered... _________________ In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. - Martin |

How are you diffusing the CO2 into the aquarium 59? _________________ 2500 gallon (9,450 L) Koi Pond

I never really got how to do this. I just have a tube going to the bottom of the aquarium. Is this okay? _________________ In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. - Martin |

I would hook up a airstone to the bottom so that it makes it into smaller bubbles, or you can spend the 20$ and get a C02 diffuser. _________________

I have a few air stones laying around here from older tanks that I used to have. I can't afford a diffuser right now because I am saving money for a new camera. Also, I want to do Co2 for my 5 gallon oplanted tank but my mom doesn't want a huge 2 liter coke bottle above my tank. Is there a way to use a 20 Fluid Oz bottle? What is the amount of yeast and sugar? _________________ In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. - Martin |
