Okay, so I went to my LFS and got some fish for my 10g aquarium. The lady there told me about these fish and I thought: "Oh yeah! Those won't grow that big and are nice" but then I got home, and I had forgotten the name of the fish. I have been looking at the gallery and I think the first one is a threadfin rainbow and the second I have no clue on.

THANK YOU Diademhill! I love these guys! They are tiny and active, they are the first smaller tetra I have kept. Was I right about the first one being a threadfin rainbow? The lady at the store gave me one male and one female.

okay! I was hoping the rainbow would be okay in the 10g. Do they need to be kept in shoals?

They would be better with a couple more but a pair can be OK.
10g is fine but keep up the water changes.

When you see a thread is dead (I.e inactive for a month) best not to comment on it or if you have updates.

Mmm... I would say, if you see a topic has been resolved, no need to try to further resolve it.
