OK I wanted to get started on my Journal for this adventure. So lets get it started

Here is the old setup

Here is the new tank


Setup complete



Now today I bought my master test kit and some sterilized (dustfree) playsand. Tonight I will clean the sand and put it into the tank. I will not be filling the tank up yet because next week I am going to adding the plants. That will be another entry.

I do have a list of fish and plant that I am going to use. However that list is at work, I will update the journal tomorrow with those details

Well the background will take away from all the hard work that went into the planting. Black or blue are most common and make driftwood and plants and rock "pop" but that is just IMO.

Okay. I was just wondering if you were going to be changing. That would be fine for the time the plants are growing out a little bit. Just I would not use one permanently.

I have never heard of a BN reffered to as a rhino pleco. Cories need to be kept in schools of 6 or more. What kind of wood do you have?

I don't think he was calling the bristlenose a rhino. He was saying hes either going to get a rhino pleco, OR, a bristlenose pleco.
