OK I wanted to get started on my Journal for this adventure. So lets get it started
Here is the old setup
Here is the stand
Here is the new tank
Setup complete
Now today I bought my master test kit and some sterilized (dustfree) playsand. Tonight I will clean the sand and put it into the tank. I will not be filling the tank up yet because next week I am going to adding the plants. That will be another entry.

Well the background will take away from all the hard work that went into the planting. Black or blue are most common and make driftwood and plants and rock "pop" but that is just IMO. _________________ In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. - Martin |

Yea, it is what I had at the time. It might not be permanent. |

Okay. I was just wondering if you were going to be changing. That would be fine for the time the plants are growing out a little bit. Just I would not use one permanently. _________________ In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. - Martin |

I have never heard of a BN reffered to as a rhino pleco. Cories need to be kept in schools of 6 or more. What kind of wood do you have? _________________ In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. - Martin |

I don't think he was calling the bristlenose a rhino. He was saying hes either going to get a rhino pleco, OR, a bristlenose pleco. _________________ Let the current take you where you may not always want to go. |

I was told by someone on here that It is branches and roots (from an African tree) and it is called Mopani. I bought it from Petco thinking that it was driftwood myself.
katienaha is correct rhino pleco, OR, a bristlenose pleco which ever I have better access to. So far the Rhino is winning because Bob's has it and I was told that it stays small as well.
As far as the panda's are concerned I might get 5 since they stay around 5cm.
I want small so that I can have a variety of fish, however I would love to throw in either 2 Blue Rams or 2 Angelfish. I have never had Rams but I know they are Cichlids and they can be aggresive. If anyone could give me thier suggestions on these in this tank it would be greatly appreciated.
Here is the correct list of plants I am adding
Tape Grass
Baby Tears
Neddle Spike Rush
African water Fern
Java Fern |
