That's where a UV Sterilizer comes in OR control the light better. Say you turn on the the light at 7am and turn it off at 6pm. |

Okay. I added the wood anyways... Here is a pic! I also added the Java Fern from my 46 Gallon because it was not growing at all!!!!!!!! So here is what it looks like!!!

I like that piece of wood! It adds more interest than the other piece of wood you had did.
Have you considered changing to a more natural looking substrate? |

Yes. and in reality I was considering doing it today because my neighborhood pool was closed. I am not going to buy more substrate... I am going to separate the kind I have now... and most likely go with black... or I could just use the substrate I had in my 18 gallon... hmm. Choice B is probably best - it doesn't look like there's enough black pieces in there to be sufficient. But remember to change it out slowly! |
