Do you ask or just look? I thought they were impossible to find around here, but it turns out that they're actually very easy to find. I just asked one of the employees at my LFS and she told me there was at least one in every tank. The young bristlenoses look just like a plain old pleco, if you don't really know what you're looking at. _________________ - Rachel |

I know they have BN but I haven't seen any long finned ones. Your tank looks great by the way Katienaha. _________________ Please, oh Please can someone help me!?

Yellow water from the new mopani wood, the ludwiga is starting to make an appearance from behind the clay pots!!!!! FINALLY!!!
The stuff on the side behind the A shaped piece of wood will be coming out. I will replace it with water sprite clippings. I have a bunch of them rooting out. Some I am selling to someone in town, others I have recently clipped off to let them root out for myself.
Substrate change is next.. that will happen between january and march when I paint the walls and will NEED to move the tank away from the wall. I think we are paintig the walls green.. so I might end up taking that background off! we'll see... _________________ Let the current take you where you may not always want to go. |

If you paint the wall green, what color background will you put on instead? _________________ - Rachel |

Would you need a background if the wall was painted green? _________________ Please, oh Please can someone help me!?

It looks wonderful! One thing I noticed, the two pots in the middle look out of place, maybe take away or move one? Other than that though it looks great!

bg colour: depends n the colour green on the wall. too similar to plants, I might go black for better pop.
water sprite comments: I love it too!!! so bright!
clay pots: they are there for territorial reasons. I have 5 plecos in this tank, plus an albino rainbow shark. I am OK with them being a bit "out of place". I also plan on planting a lot of the floating clippings soon, once they root out well. I will try to hide those pots a little better then, and remove some of the dying crypts. But the pots won't actually go anywhere. _________________ Let the current take you where you may not always want to go. |
