I found some levamisole hydrochloride on ebay called prohibit.
comes as a powder.
is this an effective wormer for freshwater fish and how do I use it.
I found some info on using tramisol (I think this is the same stuff???) but is a liquid?

thanks

Why do you need a dewormer? Do your fish have internal or external parasites?

This is the best article on the subject that I know of.

Are you planning to use it in quarantine or are your fish showing symptoms?

fish have nematoads - vet says this stuff works great but had none to sell me so I found some on ebay called prohibit wormer - but it is levamisole hci.
treated, and did a vacuum of the gravel and it seems to work great
fish are much more active and eat way better.
I think this stuff helps their health in general as well as removing worms.

btw - that link referenced below is excellent
