|
|
I made a co2 injector with a 2 liter bottle with 2 cups of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, a teaspoon of yeast, and 1.5 liters of water. I sealed the space between the tubing and the hole in the bottle cap. I tried several times, but the device never worked. _________________

If you shake the bottle, do you see bubbles coming out? Are you using new yeast? Did you activate the yeast (I.e. mix it in some tepid water with sugar before adding it to your 2L bottle)? Are you sure you did not kill your yeast accidentally (I.e. with warm water)?
Finally, if all of your answers are "yes" to the above questions, I would check again for a leak _________________ Anthony |

Yes, but I used warm water, apparently that's a problem? _________________

The problem is if it is too warm, it could kill the yeast.
To be on the safe side, I use room temperature (about 20-25C) water. _________________ Anthony |

Room temperature is what I used. I'll probably buy a co2 system, because I'm sick of trying. _________________
