Don't forget to feed the tank otherwise the filter bacteria will die off.

I am feeding the tank for 3 weeks now. I think I can add fish next week after a big water change

What have you been feeding?

ammonia

I took these pictures after I put 2 pieces of bogwood in the tank... I have to wait for 2-3 weeks for the wood to weight down and then I am going to put some more plants and the puffers Smile

(Thumbs up!) Though I must warn you - that hornwort will not anchor. It will come up from the substrate or 'melt' while under there and break away.

Oh, it looked like it was pressed into the substrate. If it isn't then there won't be a problem.

Since hornwort is a floating plant, it has no roots and will basically try to reach the surface.

wait Smile now I understand what you said before. hornwort is dying if you burried it in the substrate? I have it burried in the substrate in my other tank for 2 months... I started with 10 - 15cm plants and in one month time I had 40-50 40cm plants... in thi tank I have it for 20 days and is OK until now
