Hi all..

Well I know you all like pictures, so heres a few of my new 90L tank thats up in my kids bedroom, lucky them Wink .

Sorry its not the best of quality. I have intentions of more plants, hopefully some other colors . Plus I'm off to the local river again to get more of them rocks. All of my residents in my 60L tank are heading into this tank.

Thanks for looking.

Looking good.

A simple tip for plants - avoid any that are not green unless you want to put a lot more effort into their care.
You may be OK with some crypts or you could bring in orangey shades with Nymphaea but pink and red leaves won't thrive in that tank.

Hi all..

Thanks Diademhill for the advice.

I've not been ignoring you Wink , I've been looking around for some of those plants you suggested. Mostly the Nymphaea I like the look of, and would go well I think, but as of yet no luck in finding any.

I've slowly added my fish from my 60l tank into this tank. All but the 2 Hillstream Loach are in now.

Current Stocking.
7 x Black neon tetras (2m/5f)
4 x Pygmy Cory(2m/2f - breeding again)
2 x Guppies(m)

All the fish are extremely happy with the new tank so far. I have had 1 small incident with Sunny(male guppy), he's having so much fun in the filter flow hes ripped his tail a little. The rip is horizontal(sp?) along the tail and hes completely not bothered and still plays in the much stronger filter flow with Yoda(other male guppy) Rolling Eyes . I've been watching and have done nothing about it, but watch closely. I see no infection, infact today I can see the damage is repairing well already. It was a very straight rip just over half the length of his tail, but now is just under half his tail length in 3-4days.
There are areas of the tank that have a slower flow, but try telling Sunny that Laughing

Cheers again

Hi all..

This week I went off to the river again to get some more rocks. It was a lovely spring day and the woods around the river was stunning. Wild garlic and blue bells were out in flower all over the wood floor, aswell as mainy other beautiful flowers. Needless to say we had a very nice afternoon at the river, and came back with more great rocks for both my tanks.

I've also found the Nymphaea, thanks for that idea Diademhill.

Still no Chinese Hillstream Loach in yet, next week I'm thinking of adding them both.
But for now:-

I'm certainly much more happier with it now, maybe 1-2 little things.

Sunny's(guppy) tail is repaired already I'm happy to report. All the other fish are very happy and eating like pigs Wink , I'm looking forward to getting the Loach in soon, and to more Pygmy cory fry soon as they've bred again. Thats it for now, just a little update.

Thanks

Wow talk about a tank made for black neon tetras. They blend in with everything.
