Serious Cichlids takes very good care of all of our tanks, we are at about 85+ right now. Each tank has anywhere from 1-15 different species in the tank, depending on size, temperment, breeding, etc. With weekly water changes, a large variety for a diet, and daily maintenance, we can assure you that we are selling and breeding the highest quality of cichlids!

To reply to your comment posted, we are definitely NOT CROSSBREEDING. If there is a specific species that we are choosing to breed, they are placed in their tank ALONE, only males and females of the specific kind. The other tanks that may have a variety of fish, do not have the same species....we may have a mix of Iodotropheus Rusty, Ob Peacock, Hap Sulferheads, Lab. Trew. Opals, Yellow Chins, etc. That is just to name a few, these are just the species that we are buying and selling, NOT BREEDING. If there is a chance that some is caught holding, we do not grow the fry out, as it is a huge possibility it is not the right male and female that has bred. So those fry are destroyed.
