I am thinking about starting a 10 gallon guppy tank and when I was talking to my wife about it, she said that I needed to stop with the crazy fish-ness... Can anyone translate this into human language (lol)? Is this good or bad? Any ideas? I already have a 55 gallon tank and a 29 gallon tank.

Well my dad keeps telling me I need to go to fishaholics anonymous.
I would hazard to say bad in a joking manner? Slow down on the tankage may make her happy.

Ever thought about having a fish room? Putting them all in one room may make her happier. Out of sight out of mind theory.
I know I have a fish room. Mostly because it has a recessed floor in case of floods and isn't carpeted.
I'm sorry for your situation. My BF and his kids love my fish.

She said it in a joking matter. I was just on here to see if anyone else was in a similar situation or had the same circumstances. I don't actually own my home and I don't have a spare room to make my "fish room". The 55 gallon is out in the front room and the 29 is in the office. I think I can fit the 10 gallon in the office too or in the bedroom, but that is yet to be seen. So I'm sympathizing with all of you out there who have spouses/significant others/parents who think we are a bit loopy for being avid fish keepers. Tell me your stories!

I've gotten plenty of fish just by saying 'It can be yours.'

New information on the comment my wife made. Yesterday she saw me on this website and told me that I was addicted and then I had to talk her into letting me get another 55 gallon tank. Is being addicted to fish-keeping good or bad?

Try it at my house, I live with my daughter and husband. I got the dining room for a fish room. Soon as they are all up and running there will be 28 tanks. Still trying to figure out where to put the 90 gal.
