Hey Everyone,
I recently purchased two bristol shubunkins for my aquarium and so far they live on their own.
I couldnt get any really young ones so I got 6-7 cm fish,
Recently one has been pecking at the other one so thought it might of been agressive but when it isnt pecking they seem to be spending 24/7 which each other so I'm a bit confused?

Anyone got any experience and can help me out?

What size tank and any other tankmates or decor?

What temperature?

Where diid you find Bristol shubunkins as most fish sold as these are actually calico comets?

Temperature- 15 Degrees
Size- 100L
Plant, Filter Etc..
And the sign said they were shubunkins but they may be calico comets I have no idea :/

Bristol shubunkins can be seen here and they really need a pond or huge tank to attain their potential.
300 litres is about the minimum tank size for them.
Calico comets are shaped like this but few are of the quality of those fish.

Any chance of a photo of your fish?
This is fairly typical of the calico comets on general sale.

These are not suitable for a 100L tank.

Why not rehome them and put the fantails in the 100L?

My Friend has a 300L tank so hes going to be looking after them so I'm going to buy a few fantails thanks for all your help

100 litres is only just big enough for two fantails.
