Hey everyone,

I just installed a new 60L tank and after setting it all up and cycling etc I have put in two fantails. They seem to be getting on fine with eating pellets but what else can I feed them for variety?

Thanks
Matt Smile

Really? I did a load of research and fantails appeared to only get to about 9 cm so I thought I get put in 2 or 3?

Fantails typically grow to 15cm if well cared for with some exceeding 25cm. This is not including the tail!

You need a bigger tank although yours is a nice size for a quarantine tank for juveniles.

Thanks a lot Smile
Should be getting a bigger tank soon.
What can I feed fantails other then pellets and flakes? Seems a bit harsh on them with only that haha.

So bloodworms, veg etc?

Goldies love oranges. All of mine do. You can feed, krill, blood worms, flakes, pellets as a staple, crickets- dried crickets, algae strips, shrimp balls. Any kind of tasty fish treat. I shop at Big Al
