I recently ordered a green clown goby and I'm getting a bit worried about him.

1) He looks lumpy. I'm wondering if this is an overproduction in his slime coating for some reason? Why would this be?

and

2) I still havent seen him eat. I did some reading and found that it can sometimes take up to a week for green clowns to eat in a new tank, but I'm still worried about my little guy.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My best advice;
If it's not there already, get that specimen out of your main display and into a quarantine system immediately for further observation.

Will do - and upon doing some more research, I think its the Cauliflower virus. It seems to be the closest fit.
