Well for me it is either
a coyote, a deer or a goshawk. I know this doesn't compare with the people in alaska or rural wisconsin, but it's always interesting to see what the local wildlife for people is.

The coolest animals we've ever seen in our garden probably has to be the bats or owls that ocassionally visit as we are close to a wooded area, apart from some of the more uncommon species and variety of birds. Very Happy

I would have to say it's a tie between a black bear and a wolf. I would say moose, but to me, they're not "cool". Laughing

Black bear is by far the coolest - and we live in the suburbs!

A two-headed lizard?

Not exactly what I'd call 'cool' though.

I think the coolest would be the mountain lion, and the wild turkeys scaring it away Laughing

A peregrine falcon.

And, a Samoyed dog. My son found one on his way to school one morning and put it in my back yard for me to deal with when I came home. Imagine my surprise when I looked out the patio door and saw that I was the proud "owner" of a huge white dog!

Actually, I called the Humane Society and someone had reported him missing so the guy came and got him directly. It was a happy reunion!

Definitely a barn owl. A year or two ago I went outside and there was a young owl the size of a grapefruit huddled in our tree. I was overjoyed. It was during the day so it just sort of sat there while I stood under the tree and watched it.
