Sorry for the delay of the contest folks, but I was not able to access AoA for that last three days. Sire would not load for me at all.
Anyway, without further delay I bring to you: FROM THE DEPTHS
Show me any of your bottom dwellers or any type of bottom living creature you have be able to capture. I am talking plecos, cories, loaches, flounder, octopods whatever you like!
Example: This is a Frog Fish I photographed it at a local aquarium.
Reminder: The photo must be yours, but the photographed subject doesn't need to be.
Deadline for entries: NOVEMBER 14, 2008 (FRIDAY)
Be sure to read the 2008 Monthly Photo Contest Rules carefully before posting your photo! By posting here you are automatically agreeing to them. _________________ Now all your loach are belong to us!

I present to you my favorite fish, my weather loaches. I just love these little guys. They're a whole lotta fun to watch when they swim around the bottom, under the bogwood pieces and sometimes even to the surface of the water to snatch some of the food from the other fish. I know that they need a larger aquarium and they are cold water fish but I do take even them into mind when setting up the tank. The page here says a 20 gal will hold them but they do grow rather large and I do plan on having a larger tank by the time they outgrow my 29. Temp is around 75 degrees on average and drops a little at night.
Arent they cute! |

Anentome helena eating a red ramshorn snail. It almost makes me feel sorry for the ramshorn snail! (Note: I said "almost" )
EDITED to change the dying snail's species (thanks Shai!) _________________ Dumpster Tank
