Here's my 55g African Mbuna setup:

Stand my dad built with space for the 10g "maternity tank."

Some of the occupants:

Cynotilapia sp. white top hara male

Cynotilapia sp. white top hara female

Pseudotropheus saulosi male

Pseudotropheus saulosi female

Tiger, my favorite fish in the tank

Female Ps. saulosi, barred up for mating

Just a pic I liked (Ps. saulosi male). His lip is scarred, probably from fighting. They're aggressive little buggars!

Sadly I'm not always sure which one he is all the time. Some of the older ones weren't quite large enough to sell to the LFS (IMO), so I threw them in with the younger babies. Max is around the same size as them. When he's feeling feisty and gets colored up, though, I can still tell him apart from the rest.

As for Glen, he's super cute. I think he resulted from a fry that was spit out too early (I accidentally tried to strip the female too early). He still had his huge egg sac and sort of just grew up deformed. There's another fish that's a bit odd looking, though not quite as deformed as Glen that my bro calls "Jeffie." If Glen & Jeffie both end up being females, I might have to set up a tank for the two of them, because I probably couldn't/shouldn't sell them.[/list]

Amazed with your 55g tank! Very simplistic but eye catchy
