I'm sorry I haven't kept seahorses for years, and I am not an expert. I never had a problem feeding the DSH they always seemed to be hungry. In years past, I have noticed and captured quite a few large Atlantic pipefish and a few large seahorses drifting under our boat at night in the Intracoastal Waterway here in Florida, (using underwater fishing lights suspended beneath the boat) but I am not sure if they were feeding or just caught in the tidal surge.
