Submissions closed! Keeping within the Olympic Spirit, we have a little surprise for you and we're putting together all the participants of both forums (Brazilian and International) in a single voting! Wink

Let's move on to the 1 week voting phase. All board members can vote, but remember...to make a valid vote you must choose your 3 favorite candidates from the selection below and clearly list them in order of preference!

Although the selection criteria are ultimately personal, we hope that each voter will take into consideration the 3 basic elements of good photography:
adequacy to the proposed theme, attentive composition and technical quality.

We also encourage everyone to add comments justifying your choices, and including praises or constructive criticism to those that weren't chosen.

Participants cannot vote for their own photo, but are expected to vote and add comments for the "other" good photos! All in the name of friendship and fun!

Voting Deadline: September 13th (Saturday)

1. #15 - Alex Kawazaki - I loved the idea of snail racing, wanted to do it myself but couldn't get my snails lined up well enough.

2. #2 - rafael_franco - it actually does looks like it's speeding along, I love it.

3. #14 - -Nick- - this cracked me up so much I just HAD to vote for it.

Very hard choice this time - Jacko was almost my number 3 but I needed to get that vote for the fishfingers in. Overall very nice pictures from everyone, if I could have had a 4th place vote I think you'd all get it!

So many choices...So many great Photos. It was a very hard choice.

1 #15. Alex Kawazaki - Snails disputing 100 m dash - Very nice picture, I love the reflections of the snails. The look like they are racing.
2 #12. J.B. - 200 and 500M platform diving competition - Beautiful pic, the diving pic does come across very well.
3 #03. Frog - A double blockade - Very nice pic, stops life and activity in its tracks. detail is very clear. I do like this pic very much.

Good luck to everyone. It was a very hard choice.

Wow! Lots of great shots. Hard choice.

#7. Sacrophyton - This pic just caught my eye. I really like the ripples in the water and the way the light reflects from it, so clear, and such a hard moment to catch. Love it.

#15. Alex Kawazaki - Love this pic. The snails look like they are floating in air.

#3. Frog - As Sunstar said this pic is like life stopped in it's tracks. Great detail. Even the bubbles in the water are clear. Very nice.

Hi,
1st. #12 J.B. Wonderful photo. Very in-depth. The subject is well balanced and displayed.

2nd. #16 DF. Bobo. The Siames algae eat is a hard fish to take a pic of in my opinion. But this photo has some real charature and pressence. Also the the thought of
Swimming for gold is very particle and correct thought for this photo.

3nd.#15. Alex Kawazaki. This photo has very good depth and character.
Also the photo is in very good balance.
