1- #08 - Beautiful tank I would be extremely proud of that tank if it was mine. Well done, I only wish I could get my tank to look so good.

2- #05 - Ditto above comment. Another wonderful tank!

3- #12 - And what a gorgeous aquatic lawn that is! Excellnt work.

Well done everyone. Very Happy

I guess I missed the boat on this one, I was ready to submit and saw it was voting. That will teach me to be too slow. Embarassed

9: Because William is just the biggest personality on this forum. Cool
14: Because baby fish are cute and this one is exceptionally adorable. Also I know how hard it is to get decent pics of small and active fish, and this one is very clear.
13: Because it is nice when people have their fish for such a long time and can tell stories about them. Also the left one is a very fat Cory, and I like the fat ones. *g*

Here are my picks:

1) # 9 - Because having a betta that lived to be that old is definitely something to be proud of.

2) # 13 - I love cories, and these 2 are lovely. I hope to have mine for many years.

3) # 16 Ariaanna - Gorgeous fish! I'd be proud too if I had raised him.

It was a tough choice, but here they are:

1) #16 - Ariaanna - A very nice story, and a stunning picture to go with it
2) #13 - BarebackDreamer - A nice photo, and a nice explanation of why they're your pride and joy
3) #09 - Jun - Actually quite an ugly photo, but I feel it fits the theme perfectly.

Honourable mentions to MCHRKiller, and Dusko, yours were very close to being voted for too Wink

Great photos from everyone in general, although I feel some were missing an explanation of why they're their pride and joy, which is one reason I didn't consider some very nice pictures as part of the vote (it didn't fit the theme enough without a little story).

Difficult to choose, I think I had about 7 favorites!

I think number one has to be #14- Marcos, that's an amazing photo of such a tiny fish and a nice background story to go with it.

My number two choice is #13- BarebackDreamer, those are beautiful fish and it's so awesome that they're still doing so well after so much!

And my third favorite is #1- MCHRKiller, your story really resonates with me because it is similar to mine, and oscars are such amazing fish. Excellent choice for this week's theme!

Sorry I got so long winded, but good luck, everybody!

First-#9 Jun, it is a testimate to your dedication to that fish to keep him going for so long...and even tho in his old age he wasnt the prettiest of your bettas you still kept a big place for him...wonderful Smile

Second-#5 Slimy, you really do have a beautiful tank...and you are very dedicated to it and it is a significant tank for you I know as you like me went threw a horrible poweroutage and that tanks success has kept you in the hobby and has made you an addict like the rest of us saps Wink

Third-#7 CHBGator, beautiful arowana. Its one of the few I've seen get upwards of a foot without a sign of dropeye to come...he has wonderful color and hopefully you are prepared to take care of such a fish in the future. I give you this vote as you are going to have to really dedicate yourself to that fish as he is going to grow and grow very large, I know the personality a large fish has...and how quickly you can become attached. Good luck with that beauty, from his current condition I'm sure he is in capable hands Cool

Honorable mentions to Ariaanna-that was a wonderful story about your Paradise fish. Theyve been a favorite of mine for years, to many people toss them asside in our hobby but they are fabulous fish.
