I noticed that this sticky http://www.aquahobby.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=453 lost its picture links. It was referencing fishpalace.org which doesn't seem to be online anymore.
The JBL online hospital has a very disturbing, yet informative, section for diagnosing through pictures that might come in handy.

Not for the faint of heart:

That link although very graphic, is terrific Slimy! Thanks for sharing it. The illustrated disease thread lost it's photos a little while back, there was an..... issue with the person who hosted the pics.

Slimy,

Thank you for bringing that to our attention and providing an alternate source of information.

Lol, as someone who frequently dissects farily large fish with numerous diseases, I would hardly say that those pictures are 'graphic' Razz .

A useful link none the less, thanks.

On a side note: I take it Spring Virosis is of similar origins / same as Spring Viremia? It is a legal requirement within fish industries to report any cases of notifiable diseases, I was wondering if the same applies to fish in the ornamental hobby? If not, what would be the reason, as the risk of spreading such diseases is just as great as that within the industry, surely?
