Great submissions, everyone! I had a really hard time choosing.

First: #08. Heather R The loaches are adorable and look great against the sand. A really nice picture!

Second: #18. deborah_claro I like the "outside the box" subject matter. The snails look fantastic against the color of the rocks and background (and that's saying something, because I'm not a snail fan! Laughing )

Third: #20. ambell1616 I love the positioning of these two fish. They also contrast nicely with the dark green and bright teal/blue of the background. I probably would've placed this higher, but there seems to be something off with the coloring of the picture (light balance).

Honorable mentions: #04. Dusko, #03. Alex Kawazaki . The colors of the fish in these pictures are spectacular. I love the fact that the plants in the background make it seem as if the fish are swimming around in the wild, rather than in someone's aquarium. I especially love the "attitude" of the female ram in Dusko's picture!

This is almost impossible... I like them all very much.

1. #8 Heather R- Those loaches are adorable. I love everything about this picture.

2. #4 Dusko- I love the way these fish appear to be playing together. Very cute!

3. #14 Gummi H- What can I say? I love the color of the fish and that they were caught in the act!

Congrats to everyone who participated! Smile

#6- Wonderful shot, I know how difficult it can be to get a shot of gouramies together and I like the contrast between the yellow and green.
#4- I am of couse partial to GBR, and I think that is an exemplar pair of them right there.
#20- I like how well this one fits to the theme, and in my experience you hardly ever see the male next to the female without chasing her for some.... action. Laughing

My votes:

1) #14. GummiH - fantastic colors, and the little voyeur is hilarious! It took me a while to find him and there he was, right in front of me Laughing

2) #07. Jan - absolute magic moment...when will they ever pose like that again? Very Happy

3) #17. tolkien - very interesting and educational "candid camera" shot, clearly showing how the female holds onto her eggs with with her pelvic fins.

Exceptional photos by Alex and Dusko as usual (they just didn't surprise me like the 3 above) and honorable mention to just about everybody else for a very romantic contest Razz
