(Relax, it's a joke!)

I acquired a bunch of random aquarium supplies and used a 5 gallon tank to hook up all the filters and make sure they still functioned. They, and several light stripts had been set inside their tanks which then got filled up with water when it rained, so all the equipment had been submerged for several days. The light fixtures and heaters were all trashed and had to be thrown out, but all the filters worked, even if there were a few missing bits here and there.

After I set it up it reminded me of posts here from people new to the hobby asking if they can overstock as long as they add 'enough filters'. Smile

Haha, and there I was hoping to find a good ol' 'rant at the ignorant newbie' post (j/k!). Add a few fish and vegetables, and you'll have a good fishermans' soup, lol.

Now all you need is a new tank for each filter Smile

Wow. All you need is an airstone, a really hot heater and you have yourself a fish-Jacuzzi!

Slacker - you could get at least another three filters on that tank. Laughing

I don't have any more filters or I'd try! Smile

The tank is now running one of the smallest filters and has a Betta swimming around in it. Once I get the rest of the equipment I need I'll set up the 20 long I have with some corries like I used to have. Fun little fish.

Hurrah for Craigslist for cheap/free aquarium equipment.

Now I need to hit an LFS for some plants.
