|
|
Alright! Let's begin the 2008 Season of our Photo Contests.
Keeping consistent with last year's kick-off, we're starting with a color theme!
Themepic by aberdufi
Reds!
Red and its variations are among the most outstanding colors in the aquarium...show us your example!
Reminder: The photo must be yours, but the photographed subject doesn't need to be.
Deadline for entries: January 31st. (Thursday)
Be sure to read the 2008 Monthly Photo Contest Rules carefully before posting your photo! By posting here you are automatically agreeing to them.
On with the contest...good luck! _________________

Here is my Scarlet Badis, I like the contrast between his red color and the Giant Anubias leaf.
If I manage to get a better picture of one of my Dario dario then I might change this, but that is too be seen if I can find them more than once a day.
Shouldn't this be stickied? |

My first try in here.
Puntius pentazona, the fivebanded barb. A fish that I see in literature constantly described as "dirty yellowish or orange". In fact if fed right they grow to be some of the reddest fish out there and thus fit perfectly into this category.
That's part of my school of 15 in my 240 liter tank floating through some plants. _________________ I believe this heart of mine when it tells my eyes that this is beauty.

These are my "Blood Red" mushrooms. If you look in the top right of the screen "Waldo" makes himself known as this is his hideout.
