Oh sorry, well better luck next time! Are you going to get a new one or try something else like a pleco?

Very nice pictures as well, I have to agree with Nik, I love the wood! Very Happy Your lucky, I wish it were that easy to find a small amount of wood and not have to search through 1 ton of this stuff at my LFS and finally finding a perfect peice that would turn out to be $150 so you have to go back to searching and then it just repeats itself. I'm going to try otos again but in a few weeks, I have amanos that are going crazy so they should keep the algae under control.

... then you'll find the odd dead fish. Laughing Sorry it turned out that way. Definitely wait a while so your tank can settle out. If any problems come up, you won't be spending more money on fish that are doomed to death.

I did not expect that from the otos, they were the last three in the store and they were probably stressed from being with the other fish in the tank.

I have checked my water parameters everyday and they have been good, so it was very unexpected. What do you guys think of the Furcatus Rainbowfish though for stocking???

I also picked up another light. I now have 2 Coralife T-5 light strips. My tank has about 3.5 watts per gallon, today I am planning on picking apart my glosso and trying to make a carpet.

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!!

Got some more pictures for an update. I took apart the glossostigma pot and planted it hoping for a carpet along the front. I hope it grows! Laughing

The plant in the right corner I'm pretty sure it's cabomba, but don't quote me.

Quoted! It's cabomba.

That tank looks excellent! You're doing a very good job, and I can't wait to see it when everything is grown in, especially that carpet you're making. Keep us updated!

It is really starting to look good (though it always did)! I love it when people post a lot of updated tank pictures, it really gives you a feel of how the tank has come along. Very Happy
