I have water sprite, cabomba, and moneywort without appreciable collateral damage. The fish don't even bother the moneywort or cabomba and the water sprite grows way too fast to be decimated... it still overgrows the tank.

Hi, I own a coulple of goldfish and I have some java fern in my tank and it is doing great, daughter plants have even grown from it and now java fern almost covers the whole of my tank! lol - they don't eat it and it looks great and it is quite a hardy plant and won't die off quickly! I reccomend it to you! I also have some lebelia but I only got that a few days ago, so far that has done very well too! Very Happy
