Can anyone tell me of the Killifish in my avater picture? He was sold from a tank of "Golden Wonders", but I've never seen a "Golden Wonder" with such nice colors and markings and he was the only one in the tank. I know there's many different Killifish out there, so I was just curious?

| Not quite a golden wonder I would say, looks like a striped panchax to me. |

Looks like one of the color morphs of Fundulus cingulatus, I have heard this color called pink lemonade. _________________ 47 tanks and still adding!

That is the wild form of the "golden wonder" killifish. Aplocheilus lineatus.(golden wonder, btw, applies only to the gold form of this species, but I can't remember the common name for the original!) I'd say that the wild ones are prettier than the ones which they selected for fish with predominating gold color. He should be quite a looker when older. _________________ 46 gallon bowfront tank

| It is definately a striped panchax, they era easy to keep and prefer floating foods but will eat anything they can fit in their mouths. don't put it with barbs, danios or tetras (except anything large -n fine with congo tetras etc.). |
