What lighting do you have?
And also whats the stocking? I can see an occellaris clwn a fire fish and I think I can see some type of goby in the 2nd pic, bottom right...

Wonderful tank! What is the green thing in the middle of the tank (don't know what else to call it, so it is a thing Laughing )

That is one thing I love about saltwater tanks, even the little bit of algae in your tank looks nice and more natural, since it is purple and not dark brown/green like freshwater.

What is the total coral/LR stocking?

thanks for the comments. as for the coral stocking I have:

Green star polyps (the green one).
Red Sea pulsating Xenia
2 Frogspawn corals
various zoanthid polyps
Button polyps
1 Torch coral
1 Bubble coral
1 Goniopora Coral (over a year old)
2 varieties of mushroom coral.

Looks good, whats your waterchange schedule on this tank? I have a 22gallon nano and have been doing 5 gal bi-weekly. I have yet to see nitrates with this schedule and might extend it out a little longer.

usually 5 gal every other week. if I'm not too busy I try to make it every week.
