Wow, awesome photos everyone! I'm really on the fence for these, but after quite a bit of debate:

#10- Heather R- The picture itself is beautiful, but the sheer number of fish make it seem like they are still swimming around. . . . . when I first looked at it I thought I saw one move! Excellent choice for this month's theme.

#25- Marcos Avila- This is such an amazing shot! The clarity of all the elements of the picture (particularly the surface of the water) really enhance the perceived speed of the ray's movements.

#3- Jacko- For sheer beauty, I have to say I think this is my favorite. It's an amazing picture, extremely well timed, and the fish are just beautiful. I love the way they look like they're a single fish tying himself into a knot. This really embraces the theme well.

1.) #22-Aberdufi A beutiful photo! Love the detail in finnage and the movement. Though it is a betta so I could be biased Laughing

2.) #25-Marcos Avila Great photographic capture!

3.) #13-ceci Great shot! Love the action from above!

1) #4 Dusko - I love the contrast of straight and curvy.

2) #10 Heather R - That's a lot of action!

3) #24 shaun64326 - Definitely shows speed; almost can feel him swim by.

My votes are based on those that spoke movement to me, although I do feel a little handicapped because for a lot of the photos I haven't ever seen that type of fish IRL to know their behaviour.

1. #21 ACosterus
I can just see this one flicking himself back into the water seconds after the shot was taken - great shot!

2. #22 aberdufi
This shot is so artistic with the reflections. I would love a large print of this one on the wall at home - four shots in different colour variations (like Andy Warhol's picture of John Lennon).

3. #25 Marcos Avila
I love the way the people in the background emphasize the size of the manta ray - this is large-scale movement with such grace... amazing, amazing creatures!

Good luck to all,
Kylie

This month's entries were amazing!

Here are my top 3:

(1) #03 Jacko--I loved this picture so much when you posted it in the bettas forum, and I'm so glad you entered it here. It looks so angelic, and although it represents a different facet of "action" Wink , I thought it fit the theme very well!

(2) #21 ACosterus--Gorgeous picture with such bright color on the fish itself. It really does look like he's flip-flopping about!

(3) #26 Michael L.--Amazing shot! I don't know how you got this shot, but it is soooo kewl! Cool

Great job to everyone else too!
