Here's our chance to prove to the world that our fish *do* have emotions
Themepic by Andrea Dalbeck
Body Language!
Best photos of aquatic critters conveying their emotions/intentions through body posture, colors and/or patterns!
Reminders: Be creative and surprise us, but stick to the theme. You can and should make minor retouches to your image as long as it remains photo-realistic. The photo must be yours, but the photographed subject doesn't need to be.
Deadline for entries: Tuesday, August 28th. (not the end of the month!)
Deadline for voting: Tuesday, September 4th.
Be sure to read the 2007 Monthly Photo Contest Rules carefully before posting your photo! By posting here you are automatically agreeing to them.
On with the contest...good luck! _________________

This is a picture I just took of my new(and first) Red Turquoise Discus, I had to sneek up on it and when he turned there I was, snapped the shot, he gave me this little shocked look and darted back to his hiding spot under one of my Radican Sword leaves. Shot with a Samsung Digimax A6. _________________

Another poor quality mobile phone photo... this is two of my rasboras in the middle of either mating behaviour or trying to figure out who's dominant (after 5 months???) The whole act involves shimmying side by side and above and below each other either parallel or at right angles, this snap is when one's just below the other.
Marcos, if it's really not clear enough, feel free to exclude it from the voting. |

This is Milo (my Walmart find...marked as a female) showing what a "Big Bad BOY" he really is. I took this with my Canon Rebel XT digital camera on the Macro setting...
