Here's one for S.W. fishkeepers who are tired of fishing for seaweed clips that detach and fall to the bottom of the tank.

Simply remove the suction cup and crazy glue the clip to your algae magnet. Now you can bring the clip up to the surface for replenishing and then move it wherever you want in the tank.

And the fish love it too!

Brilliant and simple

Except theres a problem for me...I can't find any of the clips! I thought they would be easy to find...can you get them in other shops? (apart form fish stores)

Can't you get Julian Sprungs Sea Veggies Clips . I use both, Oceans Nutrition's (shown in Dales photo) and Julian Sprung's. But the second seem to be easier to use.

Dale why do you need to move it around? Target feeding, or? Great idea though.

Dusko, I don't move it around the tank really but I do flip it up side down and raise it to load and then lower it right side up for feeding.

F.A. I don't know about other stores but they are fairly common in saltwater oriented pet stores. They should come with a plastic mesh to hold in the seaweed but if not one can easily be made using a piece of gutter guard.

Wouldn't crazy glue be bad inside the tank? Wouldn't silicone be better? The kind that's made for tanks. Or is crazy glue not toxic to the fish?

Cyanoacrylate (sp.?) based glues, AKA "superglues" are 100% reef safe. Many reefers use them to mount frags because they bond quickly so that the corals only need to be out of the water for 30 seconds, max.
