...Now You Don't! Here's our chance to show off some great photos that can't be used in Aquarium Atlases or Fish Galleries
Themepic by Munish Jauhar
Now You See Me...
Best photos of partially hidden/obstructed/camouflaged fish or invertebrates!
Reminders: Be creative and surprise us, but stick to the theme. You can and should make minor retouches to your image as long as it remains photo-realistic. The photo must be yours, but the photographed subject doesn't need to be.
Deadline for entries: Tuesday, June 26th. (not the end of the month!)
Deadline for voting: Tuesday, July 3rd.
Be sure to read the 2007 Monthly Photo Contest Rules carefully before posting your photo! By posting here you are automatically agreeing to them.
On with the contest...good luck! _________________

My semi-hidden female Betta, Omi, inspecting one of my amano shrimp, who is also semi-hidden.

This is a "scorpion fish". I have to admit I thought it was a rock at first until it moved.

Here's my entry for the month, a female Kribensis hiding in amongst some Dwarf Hygrophila. Just wish she had bred while in my tank, but oh well, thats fishkeeping.
It is hiding, isn't it? (Please tell me if it's not, mods)
Good luck!

This is my 2nd change from my original. This guy right here is one of my two new Geophagus Jurupari's. They have been hiding like crazy since I got them yesterday, and I even had to move my new Firemouth I got because he was being mean to them.

Meh, it's worth a shot.
This is "Jack Buck" flaring at himself in the tank's background. He likes lurking in the back, and I think that is the reason... to chase off the other guy. That coupled with the black of the background makes it difficult to get a good shot of him. In fact, I had to bump up the saturation just so you can see him.

Replacement photo...my spotted mandarin decided to be photogenic tonight and is just too cute to pass up. I rarely get photo ops with this fish so a replacement is in order. There was a lot of zoom required to capture this little guy. Note this is one of the fattest mandarin's you will see in captivity.
Meet Kissyface.
