|
|
Or should I say "Odd Fish Out"...but the theme accepts all aquatic critters!
Themepic by JHS
Odd Man Out
Best photos portraying one single aquatic critter that's somehow different from the others around it!
Reminders: Be creative and surprise us, but stick to the theme. You can and should make minor retouches to your image as long as it remains photo-realistic. The photo must be yours, but the photographed subject doesn't need to be.
NOTE: Both conspicuous and inconspicuous "black sheep" elements work well in this theme. The Odd Man Out doesn't need to be the focal point, sometimes it's interesting if the viewer takes a while to find out who's different.
Deadline for entries: May 24th. (not the end of the month!)
Deadline for voting: May 31st.
Be sure to read the 2007 Monthly Photo Contest Rules carefully before posting your photo! By posting here you are automatically agreeing to them.
On with the contest...good luck! _________________

Let's see if you can find the different one! And, no, it is not the white shrimp on the bottom there.

Here is my entry. This little crabish creature sitting on the live rock among these swaying anenome type things, or maybe they are toadstool leather corals,(I have no idea what they really are). He was the only critter in there with them, when I saw him he was definately the "odd man out".
