Yep, it's a beautiful, tragic thing: One pleco, determined to keep the shrimp wafer to himself, bravely holds his own against a ravenous betta, two conniving cories, and five mentally unstable blue danios... And you can just tell his only thought is, "Oh, my god. O_o"

With all the cichlids I own, I don't have a really good guarding picture from them. Instead, we have a NJ Saltwater crab occupying his clam shell against the onslaught of human photographers.

My pair of clowns fending off invaders from their chosen host zoa colony. The smaller male yells while the larger female scowls. They defend this zoanthid fiercely. (the blacks spots on the fish are from the palytoxins the zoa puts out in it's own defense from the clowns.)
