They are nice looking fish but I fear if I were to ever invest they would be way too aggressive for my liking.

I currently have over about 30 angels.

the solid black one is in a 55 with 3 others.

the second pic is in a 30g with 3 other angels with 4 A.Caucatoides (female), 3 Oto, 8 Panda Cories, 2 SAE and a betta.

I also have a 20 long with 8 black lace and 4 black marble all between quarter and nickle body.

and a 20 Long with 8 Koi and white angles about Quarter to half dollar body.

I'm getting married in september so in july / august almost all my fist are going for auction at my local Cichlid club.

Chicago has very hard water, and because of that we also have one of the largest Cichlid clubs in the US. if you want a cichlid, you can probably find it in chicago by a local breeder, of they know of where to get it for you.

Angels of any size and color are available here. my club holds Auctions and swap meets on a very regular basis. the last auction was jan 28th, and the next swap is february 18th. at the last swap I bought larger than silver dollar body angels for 3 for $10. and at our auctions we can easily get them for 2-3 each for quarter sized. the best bart is that they are grown here in the crapy water so they have a higher survival rate trhan those imported.

my best advice to anyone interested in aquariums is find your local aquarium club and get to know some of the members. many of the tanks I have I got for free or almost nothing.
