fair enough. just becareful on the quick expansion of tanks, as it will mean more maintenance, and more money spent on accessories, not to mention fish, food, water conditioner, plants, decorations, etc etc

oh I know. I really have no room for a 65 gallon, I have no clue how long it would be and the only thing I have that is long enough to hold it is my turtles table. I could put it on top of my entertainment center, LOL. but I'm not that crazy. I can always hold a 20 gallon on the table, but a 10 gallon on my kitchen counter and another 10 gallon on the stand next to my TV, and maybe even another on in my bedroom on the dresser.

Dreamy tank with castle. I have two bow front 16 gallons with a male betta and Chinese algae eater in both. The tanks stay really clean with little work.

I like that ten gallon. Very creative setup. Your betta probably loves it. Smile

Ugh, still waiting on that extra 20 gallon. I want to see what fish this lady has, and if they arn't too big or anything, I want to adopt them, and move some of my bigger fish into it.

UnderOATH: Since you're adding new fish, does that mean your cycle finished?

Those are neat backgrounds. They really make the tank look more wild. I haven't used one but might switch as they really add some dimension to an aquarium.

I'm pretty sure it's finished, since I never had the test kit when I first started with the fish cycle, I could test to see if the ammonia peaked and all that stuff. But I've been testing it lately and everything is at a stand still, so I'm pretty sure it's done. It's just hard to tell since I didn't do the fishless and never tested at the begining stages of setting the tank up with the fish.

If you can go a week or so between water changes and it's still at zero ammonia and nitrite, it's finished. Congratulations!

LOL, thanks. I'm still hoping to get that 3rd(excluding the turtle) tank. And then I get do a real "fishless-cycle".
