Missy is my female betta. I've had her for six monthes. She was very young when I got her... my friend, who is 17, breeds bettas, and this was the betta I got from her. She was all white with a strip of purple on her tail, but now she has a brilliant tail and a vibrant purple sheen on her body. She's full of spunk. She's in a 2.25 gallon tank. She used to be on a bookshelf but now she's under the TV on a new shelf that my parents put up a little after Christmas.

But seriously, Missy is soooo beautiful. I love the shape of her tail, with the red and purple... |

Yup, over on the right.
I got the mini tank at the dollar store. You add warm water and the fish grow. So now the fish are double that size, lol. |

If your cat is anything like mine I bet she loves to watch the fish tank.
Mine has actually gotten in the habit of sleeping on top of it. I think he likes the warmth from the lights. |
