| Yes me likey. Sometime in the future I am actually thinking of having a cherry barb-only tank. They are awesome. Extremely peaceful, swim all over, and the male-red, female-brown colors can't be beat (except by red bettas!). I didn't know female bettas came in blue. |

Females are so pretty... Right now, I have a deep turquoisey blue one, a very bright red one, and one that's kinda brown with bright red fins. The brown/red one has the most outstanding fins... so big and full. You know, they say bettas don't like current, but my females have always loved playing in the bubbles where the filter dumps out. Do yours?
Are you thinking of moving your betta in with the barbs? |

I was planning on adding my betta to the tank this friday but I just discovered that my cherry barbs have Ich ,so... I think she'll have to stay in the bowl for a while. |

Oh no! I'm so sorry. Yeah, she'll be fine!
Have you checked out the heat treatment article here? I used it before Christmas in my tank and it worked great -- all of my fish recovered fully, didn't seem stressed at all, and I haven't had any outbreaks since. |
