Since my family got a better digital camera, I've decided that I'll slowly show off my fish to you guys.
I've had Flick for a little over a year. He was an impulse buy. I was at the LPS once day and saw that they had gotten in tons of bettas. Although he's wasn't as unique as some of the betta's I've seen, he's wicked.
He's very calm... some may call him lazy.

that is a very nice bowl you have there..I love the rocks and plants
I also see you have a heater..but where is the filter?
if I were you, I'd get one of those little HOB 'palm filters' for that..they are great filters for small tanks/bowls and your betta will thank you...
although I always say that you shouldnt have bettas in any less than 5 gallons, it looks like Flick has enough room...quite a bit of swimming room for a bowl!!

The day before I gave the bowl a cleaning so I decided to take a picture. It's at least 2 gallons.
I came home today to find a MASSIVE bubblenext... if I get a filter, no more bubble nesting... lol.
He would have went into my five gallon, but it's currently being occupied by a snail who likes to eat anything that's slow moving... she has polished off four bettas... so I refuse to keep anything in with her until she moves on to another place. |

I had one betta who was starting to get sluggish due to old age... he was pretty slow that morning... I went out for an hour and when I came back, he was in the process of being eaten.
I had betta imbellis in that tank... and I noticed that after a water change, one of them was missing... I figured it passed on and got eaten... one by one they disappeared over the course of a couple monthes. I was pretty mad when that happened.
I'll get some pictures of her... she's pretty massive. |

Is that a pic of Orlando bloom in the background (The big arm between the bowl and tank)? The arm position looks like a poster of him that I have xD _________________ In the beginning, the Universe was created. This made a lot of people angry, and has been widely regarded as a bad move. |
