has anyone watched Americas funniest videos and saw a common video of a cat on a fish tank and falling in? well most people immediately think aww poor kitty, but I thought poor fish! random cats falling into the tank probably isnt too good for your fish _________________ tanks in profile |

Haha... last time I was at my LFS (which is also a pet shop) I caught one of the owner's cats sitting on the top of one of the hamster cages, staring through the screen at the hamsters. I shooed it away and laughingly mentioned it to one of the employees and he just shrugged and looked at me like I was a freak, like he always does. <- def. not my favourite employee...

| My cat LOVES my fish tanks...she tries to attack the fish when they swim by! At first they were scared, but now they're used to her and don't really react (I felt bad for them at first, but couldn't do anything about it). Hopefully she never falls in, they all have covers, but I've caught her sitting on them before... |

When I was a boy, I used to keep lots of Goldfish.
I had a spate of some of them disappearing in mysterious circumstances.
It didn't take long to find the cat sitting astride the top of the tanks (Two legs each side, these were older style metal framed tank) on a fishing trip. She would attract the fish with her paw, then snatch them.
I invested in some tops for the tanks.
