I like flake food the best, since any fish can eat it, even fry. And because its inexpensive, and I like giving my fish Bloodworms, and Crumbles. I don't really like crumbles all that much, since they sink right down to the bottom, and smaller fish can't eat them beacuase they're too big for their mouth _________________ -Joey, aka, AsianSensation, you know it

If you mean Brand-wise, I prefer Omega One overall, but will occassionally feed Nutrafin-Max colour enhancing flakes.
As for type, flake is the choice for all my tetras/rams/rasboras/one of my bettas, shrimp pellets and algae discs for the bottom feeders... once a week everyone gets frozen food instead of the regular stuff though, either brine shrimp or bloodworm, I alternate between the two.
My other betta refuses to eat anything but Omega One pellets or frozen bloodworm, so yeah. hehe. _________________ In the beginning, the Universe was created. This made a lot of people angry, and has been widely regarded as a bad move. |

I want to try the omega one stuff, but I can only find it on teh interweb and I already have fish food. The flakes are Tetra tropical crisp, I do not know what the pellets are but they are packed in a box so I can't look, and the brine shrimp are Sally's Sanfrisco Bay brand frozen brine shrimp. _________________ My tanks

NLS (New Life Spectrum) all the way! Ocean Nutrition's flake food isn't bad, either. My sister's betta has refused to go back to betta pellets after tasting NLS... greedy little fellow. _________________ Am I obsessed? Wait a minute... don't answer that! |

do you get that stuff form LFS? I use tetracolor and attack for my cichlids but I've never seen any of those brands _________________ tanks in profile |

My LFS doesn't have a lot of that stuff. I like Hikari, most of my fish get that. Plus live food sometimes...

My Endler's fry absolutely adored TetraMin Baby and they refused to eat Hikari Micro Pellets for the days after I stopped giving them it... Now I have to feed them the Tetra stuff again even though they are juveniles! They love it.
As for the bigger fish, all the fish in my 70 litre eat Tetra Guppy - even the Rams! All my fish in my 240L eat anything really, a lot of frozen food is what they like.
