I am looking for a skimmer for my 30 gal reef tank.
I have been offerred a 'queen ts2000 protein skimmer complete minus pump' (his wording) for $30 (Australian). What do you guys think of this skimmer? Has anyone had experience with it?
I know it is at least one year old.
Thanks.

Tunze makes a nano skimmer, aqua C makes the urchin and remora, all great skimmers. if you can find a local reef club, you may be able to find one used for nice and cheap.

I have no experience w/ the skimmer your are looking at. Very Happy

The queen ts1000 was my second skimmer...it was pure junk. Price should not be a consideration is choosing a skimmer. If the skimmer has a cheap price there is a reason...usually poor quality and poor performance.
