well susankatomerit you are going to be sad...I just got 2 pairs of guppies! A pair of yellow snakeskins, a male delta, and a female half-black. There are in a 10 gallon until I can move them to a 30g. The endlers at the local pet shop were not as colorful as yours by a long shot and I couldnt pass up that male snakeskin I found.

No I won't be sad, I would say if the endlers weren't as colorful they weren't pure endlers and probably mixed with guppies. I would much rather see you get nice guppies than hybrid endlers that aren't as nice. Besides pure endlers usually sell for 5 - 8 each in most lfs. If they are under $4 they are usually hybrids.

By the pic that they are showing yes, as endlers won't have the pastel colors like that. But that pic isn't a very good one.

This is what an endler color should look like.

Unless you get into some of the specialized strains this is the most common. The one in my avatar is a top yellow sword which adds the yellowish white in the sword tail.

Aquabid has a few dependable sellers. Look up swampriveraquatics, and a tampafish they both have quality endlers. Also depending on your location there might be someone closer that has them and willing to ship a few. I won't be shipping for a couple of months as I don't like to ship when its colder.
