My Betta enjoying being a Betta:
Male Cherry Barb showing off his breeding colors to the girls:
My new and improved more natural looking aquascape:
No!!! Don't go toward the light!!!
One of my beautiful peppered corys (had some sorry looking fins a week ago but mending beautifully):
Can you find the cory?
I hope you enjoyed them! I have more but my image hosting website is being finicky. I have some great ones of the betta pretending to be a bottom feeder swimming and eating with the corys. He cracks me up sometimes....

Do you have any pictures of the full tank?
I realy like the little brick bridge. I think stuff like that is awesome and would like to build an aquatic city. _________________ My tanks

Have you considered getting the cory a friend? _________________ Life is a journey, where are you going? |

You have the exact same fish I want . Do they all get along? Do the cherry barbs bother the betta (a lot of people have warned me that they will nip the betta but I thought cherry barbs were friendly ). |

I am so envious that you found a crowntail betta that does well in a community. xD I've tried many CTs, and for a while I thought Morpheus would work but once he settled into my water parameters he started flaring, chasing and harassing everyone, including my 1" pleco who never bothers anyone at all. And Cassius before him was even more aggressive. *Envy* Lol. :P
Gorgeous tank! All your fish are wonderful looking. n__n I just love the cories! |

| Well......my betta isn't exactly "good" all the time. For the most part, he leaves everyone alone. But.....occasionally he get's a wild hair and decides to chase the cherry barbs. Thankfully, they are much too fast for him! As for the corys, sometimes he thinks he is one and tries to "bottom feed" with them which results in him laying on the algae wafer or pigging out on the shrimp pellets. The corys don't try to chase him but they do kind of crowd him out when he tries to take their food. They're so much fun to watch! |

I like your setup, the plants look nice. Have you thaught about moving the heater(or what ever the big blue thing is) behind the plants in the corner? If you did this it wouldn't be in viewing range, but you would have to move ther theremometer to get a more acurate reading.
Edit: what is the plant on the far right? _________________ My tanks

sepgundamrg: Thank you! Unfortunately, the tank is small and I don't have a lot of options on where to place the heater. According to manufacturer directions, there should be nothing touching it so I try to keep it well away from any decorations or plants. It is kind of an eyesore but it is a necessary one for the well-being of my fish.
The plant on the far right is a Rangeri Sword (Echinodorus rigidifolius). I just stuck it in the gravel and it's been sprouting new leaves and getting taller. My corys like to sit on the leaves that are closest to the bottom of the tank or sit under the leaf that is hovering over the rock.
Here's a pic of the betta "bottom feeding" with one of the corys:
And here's a pic that I just love. I imagine that he's saying, "Whatcha lookin' at?"
