Mine seem to actively feed only when the lights go off. Are they naturally nocturnal fish? |

Not striclty nocturnal, as they will feed and work the tank during the day, if they are confident, but they are often more active at dusk and dawn etc.

I think there just kinda like cats, they cat-nap for 15 minutes, then snoop around for 20, and just keep doing that for the entire day. |

My pepper cories are active from the time the lights come on in the morning, till about 11:00.
Then they rest until around 14:00, by 15:00 they are active again and looking for food.
I feed mine at 06:30 and 17:15.
Many times when I put on the light they are already very active, catfish are nocturnal - cories (fortunately) are also active during the day.
Hope this helps. _________________ Life is a journey, where are you going? |

Thank you for your help. I've noticed that my corys seem to have certain times of day where they rest. You could almost set a watch to them! For the most part, they seem to be very busy little creatures and a lot of fun to watch! |
