I'm getting the wife a 5gal minibow Allglass. I have no clue what I should use for a HOB filter. Any Ideas?

It looks like it usually comes with a Whisper MicroFilter. Did you not get one, or are looking for a better filter? We're using an AquaClear 20 on our 5 gallon and it works great.

I didn't know it comes with one. If it dose the Whisper will be fine. I was thinking a AC20, but the only tank I had that was this small came as a kit. So I was a bit mistified as to what to use.

Should come with one and they work great. I have a 5g minibow that came with a Whisper mini. Easy to maintain. An Aquaclear is also superb.
